The CTA low distortion audio power amplifiers home
The Euraudio CTA low distortion audio amplifier family consists of three audiophile grade audio power amplifier DiY kits, which are recommended for hobbyists interested in DIY audio. These are based on the CTA12 and CTA14/CTA14A Low distortion audio power amplifiers, which are cheaper and simpler versions of the LDA14 and LDA17 ultra low distortion high-end power amplifiers. In fact the CTA12 is much cheaper.
The CTA12 is capable of max. 50 Watts output power on 4 or 6 ohms, while the CTA14/CTA14A is capable of max. 100 Watts output power on 4 ohms or 90 Watts output power on 6 ohms.
The CTA12 and CTA14/CTA14A kit consist of only the mono power amplifier. For a stereo system you should buy two kits. You can buy the CTA12, CTA14 or CTA14A in itself, but you can also buy the other necessary kit subassemblies from Euraudio for a complete amplifier, as follows:
